A blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin, a grape native to the rugged, rural Jura Mountains. It brings together the body, fruit, and acidity natural to Chardonnay and unites with the minerally, earthy, nutty, slightly oxidized quality of Savagnin, which can be reminiscent of dry sherry. And with seven years of age, the depth of rich, candied fruit and nuts are accentuated even more. A gem for those who like these flavors, particularly with raclette, fondue, and rich, soft, nutty cheeses.
