These high quality figs from the AOP vineyards of Solliès-Pont in Provence have flavors of red fruits and vanilla. They are cooked by hand in a copper cauldron over a low heat in sweet red wine, flavored with herbs and bay leaf using only natural ingredients. They can be served whole or cut to accompany a cheese platter, foie gras, duck breast, a piece of red meat or even a roast chicken.
