Figs, “fruit of the gods”, are not actually fruit at all. However, they are delicious, very high in sugar, and when fermented with red wine and the fig leaves, we are left with a truly unique and lingeringly delicious vinegar. Deep red, sticky fruit flavor from the figs combines with the coconut, vanilla, tropical flavors imparted from the fig leaves.
